With seven years of experience, a passion for teaching, and her role as Head of Learning & Development at Zelh Logistics, Olesia is more than a professional – she’s someone who truly cares about what she does. She’s a fan of Harry Potter, laughs at The Office, quotes Ukrainian poetry, and enjoys the beats of Eminem. Her goal? To show that logistics can be approachable, exciting, and even inspiring when approached with the right mindset.
Let’s learn more about her journey, experience, and advice for those just starting their careers in logistics.
“How my first call changed my perspective on logistics”
Olesia vividly recalls her first interaction with a driver during a training session.
“It was supposed to be a straightforward call, but I was overwhelmed. The stress was so intense that I ended up in tears,” she shares.
What could have been a discouraging start became a turning point. Over time, that very driver became a trusted friend, even sending her holiday gifts. This experience taught Olesia an invaluable lesson: beginners need a supportive environment for their first steps in logistics.
“At Zelh Academy, we ensure our students are ready. Through simulated scenarios, they develop skills and confidence before transitioning to real-world interactions with drivers and clients,” she explains.

“How improving my English helped me build my career”
Like many, Olesia faced challenges early in her career.
“My first interview in logistics ended in rejection because of my English. Although I knew grammar well, speaking was a completely different story. I couldn’t follow the conversation with a native speaker—it was a wake-up call,” she admits.
Instead of letting this setback deter her, Olesia pursued English courses and improved her communication skills. Within two months, she secured a position in the industry.
This experience was a game-changer. Rejection isn’t failure; it’s an opportunity to grow. Now, I ensure Zelh Academy students are equipped to handle interviews confidently and avoid similar struggles.
